The negative pressure ventilation technology of the pig farm allows pigs to have a dry spring and summer. When the wind speed reaches 1.5 meters per second, the pig’s body temperature can drop by 8℃ to 10℃. In this case, whether the pig is sleeping or eating, it is very natural, and the growth condition is good, and no medicine is needed at all. According to statistics, the use of negative pressure ventilation can shorten the time for meat pigs to go to market by 10 to 30 days, and the uniformity is high, and it is easy to achieve full in and full out.
Many people say that the effect of negative pressure ventilation is not good. In my opinion, there are many details that have not been handled well. First of all, the air inlet should be large enough to avoid causing a large negative pressure in the room, reducing the ventilation volume and affecting the effect. Generally speaking, it is enough to leave the air inlet to the position of a pig pen on each side. In addition, the wind curtain is very important. The pig farm is so high. If the wind curtain is not pulled, a lot of wind will flow away from the roof, which is very wasteful. As long as a wind curtain is pulled from the roof to a height of one person, the ventilation area can be reduced, and the generated bypass can also take away the exhaust gas from the bottom floor. It is more cost-effective than hanging ceilings, and there is no need to worry about the breeding of rats caused by hanging ceilings. Another thing is that the canvas of the closed pig farm must be pulled to the bottom. Some pig farms like to leave the opening for flushing pig manure at the bottom, which will cause air leakage. In fact, it doesn’t matter if the opening for flushing pig manure is sealed. When flushing pig manure, the water flow will naturally flush the canvas.
It is particularly important to point out that, except for boar stations and heavy-born sows, negative pressure ventilation does not consider water curtain cooling, especially in delivery rooms and nurseries. It is best not to use water curtain cooling negative pressure ventilation. Some pig farms have reported that piglets in the delivery room often have diarrhea after using negative pressure ventilation. The reason is that water curtains are used at the same time, and wet and cold air enters. Because the most suitable temperature required by piglets is relatively high, basically a small amount of ventilation is enough. Two small fans are generally enough for the delivery room of a pig farm!
