1, the choice of vas deferens:
The vas deferens are divided into two kinds of vas deferens: multiple and disposable. Multiple times sex vas deferens are not easy to clean, disinfect, easy to deform, easy to cause cross infection of disease, but the cost is low. Disposable vas deferens has no spiral or expanded part at the tip of the vas deferens, and the uterus is not easy to be locked at the time of insemination, and it is easy to have the phenomenon of semen backflow.
2, the preparation before insemination:
All utensils, must be strictly disinfected, glass items in each use after a thorough washing and rinsing, and then put into the high temperature drying box disinfection, can also be steamed and sterilized, rubber vas deferens should be wrapped in a sand cloth with steam disinfection or directly with alcohol disinfection. The stored semen, especially the low-temperature preserved semen, should be warmed up before use, i.e. the semen should be placed in 37℃ water and warmed up to 35℃-37℃.
3, insemination operation:
When insemination, first clean the pubic area of the sow, and use a clean cloth to wipe clean the pubic area, and put two drops of semen as lubricant. Then insert the vas deferens obliquely upward avoiding the urethral opening into the vagina of the sow, when the insemination enters 10-15 centimeters, turn into horizontal insertion up to the cervix, and at the same time massage in the perineum area, so that the sow stretches the waist, hips, tail.
When the cervix has a locking feeling to the vas deferens, the plastic bag or bottle with semen will be connected to the vas deferens, so that the negative pressure effect of uterine contraction will suck the semen to the deep uterus. The time required for the insemination is 3-5 minutes, and when all the semen has been entered, the vas deferens is allowed to remain in place for 3-5 minutes, and the vas deferens is slowly turned to pull out the vas deferens or is allowed to remain in the vagina, and allowed to withdraw on its own by contraction of the vaginal sphincter.
